Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take?

Please allow a 3-hour window for your appointment. It will likely not take this long, but it is better to not rush.

What is the healing process like?

Immediately following your procedure, your brows will appear darker and warmer than they will fade to. You may experience some redness and swelling around the area - this is normal. After 3 days you may notice light flaking or scabbing. It is important that you do not pick at it. This may result in loss of pigment. During the healing process some pigment may appear muted or diffused. After 4-6 weeks when brows have healed, any touch-ups can be made. More color, or dimension can be added then!

What would make me a non-ideal candidate?

Will I need a touch up?

Yes, it is very likely. After your first session, pigment color will fade as much as 30-40%. A follow-up appointment is done 4-8 weeks after the initial session. This takes much less time than the original procedure, and also allows for any desired changes to be made.

How long does it last?

Permanent makeup brows can last anywhere from 1-3 years depending on a client’s skin type, after-care, and retention. Touch ups are recommended annually to retain the brow shape and pigment.

Does it hurt?

A topical anesthetic is always applied prior and throughout the treatment, but each person will be different in terms of pain tolerance. Some clients may be more sensitive than others.

Is it safe?

Of course! All products used are sterilized, and disposable.
